Sandra Kennedy, Esq.
I graduated from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University,
and I am admitted to practice in both New York and New Jersey. During
law school, I served as Managing Editor of Notes and Comments on the Family
Court Review, and have had two articles published on the topic of prenuptial
agreements. I also have a Master’s degree in Psychology from Adelphi
Throughout law school, I concentrated my studies and work experiences in
Matrimonial and Family Law. I interned in the chambers of the Hon. Jeffrey
Goodstein at the Nassau County Supreme Court Matrimonial Center, the Nassau
County Department of Social Services, and at a collaborative Family Law
firm in Brooklyn.
As a result of my receiving a Master’s degree in Psychology, I have
a passion for Family Law and I am empathetic to the emotional toll divorce
may have on my clients. I truly enjoy advocating for my clients, and ultimately
resolving their disputes and achieving beneficial outcomes. In addition
to Matrimonial and Family Law, I have experience in Estate Planning/Litigation
and Mental Hygiene Law Article 81 Guardianships.
