I had a pretty tough, emotional, and very stressful divorce case. Shawn, Steven, and the entire team at the firm were with me at every step of it, answering all my emails and phone calls always on time with respect and lightning fast. I don't remember a single delay on returning my calls or my emails. They were always available to help me out with my complicated divorce case I was having with an uncooperative and unreasonable family member who is an ex-spouse now. Meeting Steven and Shawn in person helped me realize who I was, always giving me the best advice, helping my main focus to be our children and division of our assets rather than the individual herself I was having problems with, who was making everything impossible for me and our children non-stop. Shawn is an experienced professional attorney who shows up with his suitcase and documents rather than a laptop only before the judge in the courtroom to keep my best interests. This was one of the reasons why I always had full trust and respect for him and everyone else at the firm. His experience clearly stands out; without his help, I would not have been able to have the settlement and visitation agreement I have with our children today, plus the fair division of marital assets. My ex tried everything to gain full custody, kept badmouthing, kept alienating our children, refused visitations, including placing multiple order protections against me during our divorce case, who was having infidelity with another person at the time. The firm had one of the best criminal attorneys in the country to defend me. At the end, I got to have our children every week for 3 days and most of the holidays, placing a mileage restriction on her so she could no longer move away. Everyone’s character at the firm was genuine and friendly, making me feel safe to be represented by them, and what impressed me the most was everyone being experienced and focused on my case to achieve my and our children’s best interests. I, with no hesitation, definitely recommend Kuhn & Sandler PLLC to everyone in need of professional help during their divorce case, and I appreciate everything they have done for me and our children. Recent Update: In March 2024, I got full custody of our 3 oldest children, and they are living with me in my household nonstop right now. Sometimes the best thing is to let your children separate from you and live with the other parent just so they can find out and realize who genuinely cares about them and loves them truly. I and all our children are happier than ever in our lives right now.

Shawn Sandler is just truly the best attorney. He is knowledgeable and responsive, a great listener, and a calm and nice person. Going through a divorce is stressful and hard, but Shawn is there every step of the way to make you feel like you are not alone in it; he hears you, and he is your advocate all the way! Coming from another attorney who could not get my stipulation done correctly, did not offer to do my QDROs after, never answered her calls, and in fact dodged most attempts to get her, Shawn was absolutely the best thing that could have happened to me when I thought things were never going to be completed. He resolved all of my outstanding issues, dealt with an obstinate ex-spouse, and finalized everything for me within a year with total professionalism and skill. His office people are also terrific—no one leaves you hanging. All calls get answered, you get a monthly statement, you're never left in the dark. All offices should run this smoothly. I can't say enough about this office and everyone in it. My case was primarily handled by Shawn Sandler, and through a year and a half of a difficult, high-conflict divorce, Shawn and the rest of the staff made sure that everything stayed on the rails. One of the things I appreciated was that Shawn asked me what my number one priority was at the outset—maximizing the time with my kids—and made sure that everything going forward worked to achieve that goal, even when it wasn't always clear to me how. He had a plan and was prepared every step of the way to execute it. I appreciated his calm presence, attention to detail, and advice every step of the way. I switched from another lawyer about a month in and I'm glad I did.
