Attorney Adam H. Kuhn
Email: akuhn@kuhnlawyer.com
I joined the law office of Kuhn & Sandler, PLLC after graduating cum laude from Syracuse University College of Law, where I served on the executive board of the Syracuse Law Review. My practice areas include divorces, child support, and child custody.
Born and raised on Long Island, I graduated from Ward Melville High School and obtained my undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland, College Park, graduating summa cum laude.
During law school, I represented clients in divorce proceedings as a student attorney with Syracuse University’s Children’s Rights & Family Law Clinic. I interned with Mental Hygiene Legal Service, an agency of the New York State Appellate Division, where I represented patients in psychiatric hospitals.
I also interned in Baltimore with the Maryland Volunteer Lawyers Service, a non-profit that provides free legal assistance to low-income members of the community. As a law student, I composed an article that reviewed and suggested reforms for Major League Baseball’s Domestic Violence Policy. The article was published in the journal Family and Intimate Partner Violence Quarterly.
As a native of Long Island, I remain empathetic to people in my community who are going through a difficult family matter. I believe in listening carefully to my clients’ unique situations so that I can understand the issues involved and move forward with a plan to achieve a resolution of their cases.
